Pearsonville, CA : CHP reports 2 dead in Pearsonville collision on Thursday, 21st November, 2019

Two people have been reported dead in a two-vehicle collision on US 395 near Pearsonville, according to California Highway Patrol reports.

CHP officers, Inyo County Sheriff’s deputies and engines from Inyo and Kern County Fire Departments responded to the scene.

According to CHP reports, the collision occurred just before 5:30 a.m. Thursday morning at the county line, near the turnoff to the Shell gas station on the northbound side of US 395.

A tractor trailer collided with an SUV, causing the SUV to go under the big rig’s trailer. CHP closed down both northbound lanes and re-directed traffic onto the frontage road.
