Trempealeau, WI : Two drivers died, 1 injured in 3-vehicle crash in Trempealeau County on Saturday afternoon, Sep 12, 2015
Authorities say two people were killed and one was injured in a three-vehicle crash in west-central Wisconsin's Trempealeau County.
The Trempealeau County Sheriff's Office says the crash happened Saturday afternoon in Trempealeau. The sheriff's office says a pickup crossed the center line and struck an SUV, which then rolled into a ditch.
The pickup then struck a car, and the drivers of the two vehicles were pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities identified the dead as 56-year-old James Harnish of Trempealeau, who was driving the pickup, and the driver of the car, 36-year-old Jonathan Helgerson of Prairie du Chien.
According to the sheriff's office, the driver of the SUV was flown to a hospital with unknown injuries.
