MILTON, VT : Pedestrian hit by car in Milton on Friday, July 21, 2017

A pedestrian was rushed to the hospital Friday morning after getting hit by a car in Milton.

It happened just before 9 a.m.

Police say a 40-year-old man was crossing Route 7 from the Hannaford parking lot when he was hit by a car in front of the supermarket. The pedestrian was hospitalized with several injuries but he is listed in stable condition. Police are not yet releasing his name.

Investigators say drugs and alcohol do not appear to be factors in this crash.
