Baltimore, MD : Two people injured after Severna Park crash on Thursday afternoon, August 18, 2016
Two people were airlifted to a Baltimore hospital Thursday afternoon after a head-on car collision in Severna Park, a spokesman for the Anne Arundel County Fire Department said.
The crash occurred around 4:30 p.m. on Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard near Asquithview Lane, Lt. Ariel Jackson said.
The victims were taken to the Shock Trauma Center at the University of Maryland Medical Center with serious but not life-threatening injuries, Jackson said.
The Anne Arundel County Fire Department also responded to a crash in Glen Burnie around 6 p.m. Thursday that injured one person, he said.
The crash occurred near Ritchie Highway and Americana Circle, and the victim's injuries were not life-threatening, Jackson said.
