Garland, AR :Two People killed and Five others injured after Two Vehicle Crash on Monday Morning ,September 7th 2015
A Hot Springs woman was killed and five people were injured in a two-vehicle crash in Garland County Monday morning, Arkansas State Police reported.
Paula Moix, 55, was driving a 2010 Hyundai Elantra east on U.S. 70 around 10:20 a.m. when the car crossed the centerline and hit a 2009 Chevrolet pickup head-on, the report said. Moix was killed.
Five people in the Chevrolet were injured: driver Donald Wilkerson, 32, and passenger Valerie Wilkerson, 35, both of Little Rock, as well as three minors who were also passengers. The injured were taken to two Little Rock hospitals.
The Arkansas State Police also reported that a Conway woman was killed Sunday afternoon in a one-vehicle crash in Vilonia in Faulkner County.
Jamie D. Roberts, 38, was westbound in a 2004 Honda Accord when she lost control of the car at 270 Otto Road, hit a fence and tree and overturned, the report said.
