A Council Bluffs teenager was injured in a single-vehicle wreck Thursday evening.
Makayla Przybylski, 18, was a passenger in a 1991 Chevrolet Caprice driven by Hayley Jo Masoner, 18, of Council Bluffs. Just before 8:30 p.m. Masoner lost control of the vehicle on southbound I-29 near the 65-mile, according to the Iowa State Patrol. The car left the roadway and entered the west ditch, then slid backwards through a fence near a cornfield.
Crescent Rescue transported Przybylski to Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital, where she was treated and released. Masoner was uninjured.
