Davenport, IA : Rollover Accident On US 61 near West Lake Park in Davenport on Monday, August 25, 2014

The Iowa State Patrol released more information on a rollover accident on Highway 61 near West Lake Park in Davenport. According to the ISP report, the car was headed southbound when the driver was distracted and the front tire went off the road and onto the shoulder. The driver, 30-year-old Monica Fulscher of Davenport, over-corrected, causing the vehicle to slide into the median where it rolled and landed on its roof. Fulscher and a 6-year-old boy were taken to the hospital. The Iowa State Patrol says both were wearing seatbelts. The accident happened around 7:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 25 on U.S. 61, near 110th Ave. Source : Update: Rollover Accident On US 61
