Yarmouth , MA : One man was killed and another man was injured after car went off a road and struck a large boulder on Saturday , December 27th 2014

One man is dead and another hospitalized after an early-morning car crash on Cape Cod.

Officials in Yarmouth say a car went off a road and struck a large boulder before coming to a rest against a tree in the front yard of a home.

Fire Capt. Tom Lundquist tells the Cape Cod Times (http://bit.ly/1vAXq0B ) a 28-year-old man was thrown from the vehicle and died. The other man was extricated from the vehicle and taken to Cape Cod Hospital with injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening.

The accident remains under investigation.
