MOUNTAIN HOME, ID : Multi vehicle crash on I-84 between Boise and Mountain Home blocks all lanes on Sunday, 1st October 2023

A ten-vehicle accident on Sunday caused traffic to be blocked for four hours on Westbound I-84 at milepost 78.

According to ISP, a 36-year-old man driving a 2015 Volvo Semi tractor was traveling on the interstate when he failed to stop for slowed traffic. The semi-truck driver then struck nine other vehicles on the interstate.

The female driver of a Kia and the male driver of the 2022 Freightliner semi were transported via ground ambulance to a local hospital.
