GASTON COUNTY, NC : 1 killed, 4 hurt in I-85 crash in Gaston County on Sunday, 25th February 2024

A crash shut down a portion of Interstate 85 South for hours on Sunday afternoon.

North Carolina State Highway Patrol said the crash happened just before 3 p.m. in Gaston County near Exit 21 for McAdenville.

According to North Carolina State Highway Patrol, a person driving a 2014 Toyota Camry was traveling north on I-85 and collided with a tractor trailer, lost control and collided with two other vehicles.
