Findlay, OH : Man hurt in Tiffin Avenue crash on April, wednesday 26th 2017

A Findlay man was injured in a three-vehicle accident on Tiffin Avenue Wednesday afternoon, city police reported.

According to police, Kate McGovern, 18, of Jeromesville, was driving a 2015 Chevy Equinox west in the 500 block of Tiffin Avenue at 4:46 p.m. when she struck the rear of a 2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser driven by Shawn Brown, 49, of Findlay, which was stopped for traffic.

The impact pushed Brown’s car into the rear of a 2004 Nissan Xterra driven by Sammy Archuleta, 48, of Findlay, which also was stopped for traffic, police said.

Brown was taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital by Hanco Ambulance for treatment of minor injuries, according to police.

McGovern was cited for failure to stop in an assured clear distance ahead, police reported.

The Findlay Fire Department assisted at the scene.
