Chicago, IL : Motorcyclist killed in Batavia crash on Thursday night, August 4, 2016

A motorcyclist was killed in a crash in west suburban Batavia Thursday night, authorities said.

The Batavia Fire Department was called to the intersection of Randall Road and Main Street about 8:20 p.m. for a crash involving a motorcycle and another vehicle, according to a statement from the department.

The motorcyclist was taken to Delnor Community Hospital in Geneva where they were pronounced dead, the fire department said. Their age and gender was not disclosed.

Two people in the other vehicle were not injured.

Batavia police were still investigating the crash late Thursday.
