Boise, ID : One man injured after a motorcycle lost control and crashed on Interstate 184 on Sunday, February 14, 2016
At least one person was injured in a motorcycle crash in front of Interfaith Sanctuary Sunday, according to Ada County dispatch.
Officers report they witnessed the motorcycle driving at high speeds around 4:15 p.m. and attempted to stop the vehicle on Interstate 184 near the Fairview Avenue Exit. The driver did not pull over, but police did not chase because of safety concerns, according to Boise Police Department.
Shortly afterward, witnesses reported the motorcycle had lost control and crashed off of the River Street Exit. Witnesses told police the motorcycle had going around 100 mph, according to BPD.
Boise Police responded to the incident in front of Interfaith Sanctuary, located at 1620 West River Street.
The driver of the motorcycle, a male, was transported to the hospital with injuries. It’s not clear what his health status is, according to BPD.
The investigation is ongoing. The River Street Exit was blocked off temporarily.
