Detroit ,MI : Two students injured after car and school bus collided and hit a Pontiac two-door car on Monday ,April 27 2015

Two students were hurt Monday morning when a car and school bus collided in Detroit.

Police on the scene said the school bus was on Asbury Park when it turned onto Pickford Avenue and hit a Pontiac two-door car.

There were six students on the bus -- a 10-year-old complained of head pain and a 13-year-old of wrist pain.

Police said the driver of the car was ticketed for expired insurance.

It was not immediately known if the school bus driver would be ticketed.
