Fort Dodge, IA : Injuries reported in head-on crash near Webster City on Thursday, March 9th 2017

A head-on collision occurred on Thursday afternoon at the intersection of 220th Street and Erickson Avenue west of Webster City on Old Highway 20. According to David Turpen, a Hamilton County sheriff’s deputy, a Chevy headed west on 220th Street crossed over the center line and was struck by a pickup truck headed east on 220th Street. One female was transported to Van Diest Medical Center in Webster City. Two other individuals also went to Van Diest Medical Center, but were not taken by ambulance. Names of the drivers have not yet been released. The Webster City Fire Department, Webster City Police Department and Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department responded.
