LOUISVILLE, KY : 2 killed in crash in front of Iroquois High School on Thursday, 6th June 2024

The names of the man and woman killed in a motorcycle crash in the Iroquois neighborhood Thursday night have been released.

Louisville police responded to the scene of a crash at 10 p.m. at Taylor Boulevard and Arling Avenue in front of Iroquois High School.

LMPD spokesperson John Bradley said a pickup truck turned left onto Arling Avenue and hit a motorcycle that was headed south on Taylor Boulevard. Roger Pendleton, 51, was driving the motorcycle. He died from his injuries at the scene. Amanda Upshaw, 32, was the passenger on the motorcycle.

Bradley said she was taken to the University of Louisville Hospital, where she later died.
