GLENDALE, AZ : Motorcyclist seriously hurt in hit-and-run crash in Glendale on Thursday, 21st March 2024

A motorcyclist is fighting for his life after a hit-and-run crash in Glendale on Thursday night.

It happened at 67th Avenue and Mountain View Road, which is north of Olive Avenue, just before 6:30 p.m.

Police said the driver took off from the scene after the crash but was later found and taken to the hospital as a precaution. Meanwhile, the motorcyclist was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

It’s unclear what led up to the crash but officials said early Friday that they don’t believe impairment was a factor.

The road was closed until around midnight. An investigation is still underway.
