Granger Township, OH : 19-year-old Highland High School graduate was killed in a motorcycle crash on state Route 18 on Tuesday, 28th August 2018

A day before his birthday, a 19-year-old Highland High School graduate was killed in a motorcycle crash Tuesday evening on state Route 18.

The crash that killed Marcus Langford of Medina is still under investigation, the Medina post of the Ohio Highway Patrol said in a news release.

Langford was traveling west on Route 18, near Beach Road, on a 2012 Yamaha YZFR6 when it collided with another westbound motorcycle driven by Daniel Switter, 37, also of Medina. Langford was ejected from his motorcycle and landed in the eastbound lane of Route 18 where he was struck by a car driven by John MacGregor, 64, of Hamilton, according to the Ohio Highway Patrol.

Langford was pronounced dead at the scene by Medina County Coroner Dr. Lisa Deranek about 9:30 p.m., Granger Township fire Capt. John Rocco said.
