Yuma, AZ : One person dead after head-on crash with semi truck on Highway 95, near Yuma early Friday morning, July 15, 2016

One person was killed early Friday morning in a head-on crash with a semi truck on Highway 95, near Yuma Proving Ground.

According to Media Specialist Bart Graves, of the Arizona Department of Public Safety’s Public Affairs Unit, the crash happened at approximately 3:07 a.m. at milepost 42.3.

Graves said, according to investigators, a Cadillac Deville was traveling northbound on Highway 95 when it crossed into the southbound lanes and struck a truck tractor head that was traveling southbound.

The driver of the Cadillac died of her injuries at the scene. The driver of the truck, Graves said, was not injured.

The deceased driver has been identified as 48-year-old Deanna Adrienne Boyer, of Bouse, Arizona. Graves said Boyer was indicated as the at-fault driver in the crash so no citations were issued.
