NORWICH, CT : Car crash seriously injures 2 young children on Sunday, 17th June 2018

Police have arrested a driver who they say swerved into oncoming traffic in Connecticut and hit a vehicle with a woman and her two children inside, seriously injuring the children.

The 32-year-old Colchester man is facing charges of assault, driving under the influence and driving without a license among other offenses.

Police say the crash happened Saturday night in Norwich. The man fled the scene on foot before he was apprehended by Connecticut State Police.
