Bear, DE : Police-involved crash on Pulaski Highway at Del. 7 on Monday, 13th January, 2020

A 61-year-old woman and an on-duty New Castle County police officer were taken to the hospital after a crash on Pulaski Highway at Del. 7 in Bear Monday afternoon.

At around 1:20 p.m., the woman was turning left from East Pulaski Highway onto Walther Road in her Hyundai Tucson when she was hit by a fully-marked New Castle County patrol vehicle, police said.

The woman and officer were taken to an area hospital for minor, non-life threatening injuries.
