Claremore, OK : Head-on collision sends Inola drivers to hospital on Monday, February 6th 2017
Oklahoma Highway Patrol responded to a two-vehicle head-on collision one mile south of Inola Monday evening that resulted in both drivers being admitted to a Tulsa hospital with injuries.
According to an OHP report, Christopher Sund, 27, was driving a 1999 Jeep Wrangler going westbound on EW600 and Jeremiah Clark, 21, was driving a 2004 Toyota Corolla going eastbound on EW600 when both travelled left of center on a hillcrest, colliding with one another.
Clark was pinned in his vehicle for approximately 20 minutes before being extricated from the vehicle by the Inola Fire Department.
He was transported by helicopter with head, trunk, external and limb injuries, the report indicated.
Sund was transported by Pafford EMS with head, trunk, external and limb injuries.
Both were reportedly admitted in stable condition.
