Douglas County, KS : Topeka woman injured in crash on I-70 in Douglas County on Monday, 26th November 2018

A Topeka woman was injured Monday in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 70 in Douglas County, authorities said.

The crash was reported at 8:25 a.m. near the Lecompton exit on eastbound I-70 along the Kansas Turnpike.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, the driver of a 2011 Chevrolet Malibu lost control of the vehicle, which struck a barrier wall.

The driver, identified as Donielle Larue Dennis, 40, of Topeka, was reported injured and was transported to Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

The patrol said Dennis, who was alone in the vehicle, was wearing a seat belt.
