Dayton,OH : A driver has been killed on April, sunday 30th 2017

A driver has been killed after travelling the wrong way down a motorway and ploughing into a gas tanker - causing a huge and deadly explosion.

The 30-year-old driver collided with the semi-tanker, which was carrying gasoline, on Sunday evening in Dayton, Ohio.

After the crash, on Interstate-75, the Dayton Police Department confirmed that the driver of the car had died, while the truck driver had suffered minor injuries.

A traffic camera captured the fire burning after the collision, which was followed almost immediately by a huge explosion.
