Wheaton,MO : Big rig wrecks near Wheaton on January, Monday 29th 2018

A man was injured on Monday in a wreck at 1:40 p.m. on Route W, two miles east of Wheaton.

According to Missouri State Highway Patrol reports, Leslie England, 68, of Wheaton, was driving a 1989 Freightliner westbound when his vehicle left the roadway and struck a culvert.

England suffered minor injuries and was transported to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.

He was wearing a safety device, and the vehicle sustained extensive damage.
