LAS VEGAS, NV : Man killed after three-wheeled motorcycle crashes outside Las Vegas on Saturday September 20 2015
Officials have identified a man who died after the three-wheeled motorcycle he was driving crashed.
authorities say 25-year-old Zackece Townsend was driving a Polaris Slingshot motorcycle around 3:50 a.m. Saturday when the crash happened.
According to investigators, Townsend's Slingshot went onto a raised curb in a parking lot of the Las Vegas Premium Outlet Mall.
They say the three-wheeled vehicle then went back on a driveway but struck a raised island and then hit a metal donation box.
They say the Slingshot was thrown into a concrete flood channel and came to rest on top of landscaping.
Firefighters extricated Townsend and 18-year-old Taylor McClinton and both had critical injuries.
Townsend was pronounced dead at a hospital.
