BOSTON, MA : Driver ejected, killed in Mattapan crash at the intersection of Blue Hill Avenue and Fairway Street on Saturday, 27th April 2019

One person was killed when they were ejected from their vehicle during a violent crash in Mattapan early Sunday morning, police said.

Emergency personnel responding to a reported crash at the intersection of Blue Hill Avenue and Fairway Street about 1:30 a.m. attempted to render emergency aid to the driver but efforts to revive them were unsuccessful.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
