San Antonio, TX : A three-car wreck tied up traffic on Southwest Freeway on Sunday, December, 17th 2017

A three-car wreck tied up traffic Sunday afternoon on Southwest Freeway.

Two vehicles flipped over after one went airborne during a 2:30 p.m. crash in the southbound lanes near the Chimney Rock exit, according to police.

The collision shut down all lanes, turning the freeway into a parking lot behind the smoking vehicles. Houston firefighters and police both responded.

It was not immediately clear what caused the wreck or whether anyone was injured.
