Sacramento, CA : 2 dead after head-on crash in Sacramento County on Saturday, 11th May 2024

Two people are dead after a head-on crash in Sacramento County early Saturday morning.

The California Highway Patrol said the two-car crash was reported around 12:15 p.m. along Highway 160 at Sherman Island Road.

Police said a man driving a grey Nissan SUV crossed into the northbound lane of Highway 160 and crashed into a silver Lexus SUV. It's not clear why the car went into the opposing lane.
