Sacramento, CA : Woman was killed while running from crash on February, Tuesday 20th 2018

A woman killed early Tuesday when she was struck by a car apparently while running away from the scene of a crash she may have caused has been identified by the Merced County Coroner's Office. It remains unclear why 28-year-old Jessica B. Hampton tried to run away from the scene of the crash shortly after 5:30 a.m. Tuesday on Highway 152 near Deep Well Road.
