One motorcyclist died in Los Angeles California

A motorcyclist who died in a solo vehicle crash on the 2 Freeway was identified Tuesday morning as a medical doctor from La Cañada.
Los Angeles Coroner’s Lt. Larry Dietz said the victim was Thomas M. Grosch, 53, of La Cañada.

Grosch was a medical doctor, specializing in the ears, nose and throat, according to the website of Eastside ENT of Burbank, which listed him as one of two principal partners and chief of surgery at Glendale Memorial Hospital since 2006.
California Highway Patrol Officer Alex Rubio said Grosch died on the northbound lanes of the freeway at East Mountain Street around 6 p.m. Monday.Four of the five northbound lanes of the freeway were closed for three hours after the crash, Rubio said.
