Socorro, N.M : Two Pueblo, Colo. residents killed in fatal crash south of Socorro on Thursday, October 30, 2014

Two Pueblo, Colo. residents were killed in a one-vehicle car crash south of Socorro Thursday. New Mexico State Police say a vehicle driven by Efren Rivera-Aleman was traveling southbound on I-25 at mile marker 143 when he lost control of the vehicle and it overturned in the median. Two passengers, Augustine Bojoquez Derivera, 62, and Severo Bojorquez, 59, were pronounced dead on scene. Rivera-Aleman was taken to Socorro General Hospital for minor injuries and was later released. According to NMSP, alcohol was not a contributing factor and seatbelts were not used.
