PENFIELD, NY : Home damaged in Penfield car crash on Sunday, 21st March 2021

A home was damaged in a two-car crash in Penfield on Sunday.

The Monroe County Sheriff's Office says a car on Sweets Corners Road ran a stop sign and collided with a truck. The force of the crash then flipped the first car over until it ended up resting against a house at the intersection with Harris Road.

The driver and two dogs were trapped inside the vehicle, but they were rescued and sustained only minor injuries.

Deputies say drugs and alcohol do not appear to be a factor in the crash.
