The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal wreck in Laurens County. Troopers said it happened at 11:43 p.m. Friday on Highway 221 near Waterloo. Corporal Bill Rhyne with the SCHP said the driver of a Honda sedan was traveling north when the car crossed over the center line and crashed head-on into a pickup truck traveling south. The driver of the Honda was not wearing a seat belt and died at the scene, Rhyne said. The coroner has not yet identified the driver. The 51-year-old pickup truck driver was wearing a seat belt. He was taken to Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood where he was treated for injuries, Rhyne said. Source : Driver killed in Laurens County Wreck
