HUMBOLDT, SD : Driver killed in I-90 crash in eastern South Dakota on Wednesday, 28th November 2018
A 54-year-old man died early Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 28, in a one-vehicle crash at the Humboldt exit on Interstate 90.
A 1997 Pontiac Grand Am was traveling westbound on I-90 when the driver lost control of the vehicle while traveling across a bridge. The vehicle slid into the median, collided with guard wires and then rolled onto its roof.The 54-year-old driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The name of the deceased is not being released pending notification of family members.
He was the only person involved in the crash and was not wearing a seat belt. The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
Humbolt is about 25 miles west of Sioux Falls.
