Coroner identifies motorcyclist killed in accident near Ladson fairgrounds

The Charleston County Sheriff's Office says one person is dead following an accident involving a car and motorcycle on Highway 78 near the fairgrounds in Ladson Monday night.Authorities say at 5:53 p.m., deputies responded to a fatal accident in the area of Highway 78 between Market and Craven roads before the Coastal Carolina fairgrounds main parking lot.The Charleston County Coroner's Office has identified the motorcyclist as 30-Year-old Alvin Buckner of Ladson. Coroner Rae Wooten say Buckner died on the scene from multiple injuries.The South Carolina Highway Patrol, EMS and the fire department also responded to the scene.
