Hampton County, SC : Highway Patrol is investigating a hit and run crash that killed one man on Monday morning September 1st 2014

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a hit and run crash that killed one man on South Carolina 68. The accident happened around 4 a.m. Monday about 6 miles south of Varnville. The Hampton County Sheriff's Office says Dennis Pringle was pronounced dead on the scene. The car that hit Pringle kept going.
