Dallas, TX : 2 dead in fiery two-vehicle crash in West Dallas on Tuesday, 10th April 2018

A man and woman died Tuesday night and two other people were hospitalized after a fiery crash in West Dallas, police said.

Bystanders reportedly pulled a man and woman from a burning truck about 7:20 p.m. before first responders arrived to the crash that also involved a minivan at Canada Drive and Ladd Street, police said.

When firefighters arrived on scene they had to extricate the two people from the minivan, Dallas Fire-Rescue said.

The female driver of the minivan and the male passenger of the truck were taken to a local hospital, where they were pronounced dead, police said.

Two other people, a man who had been in the minivan and a woman who had been in the truck, were also taken to a hospital and were in stable condition.

Police did not provide information about the extent of their injuries.

It's unclear what caused the crash.
