Bremen Township ,IL :One person sent to hospital in car burning after it crashed on Interstate 80 Wednesday ,August 5th 2015
Emergency crews rescued a man from a burning car after it crashed on Interstate 80 in the south suburbs early Wednesday.
About 2 a.m., the car was heading eastbound on I-80 near the Interstate 57 interchange in unincorporated Bremen Township when it smashed into a guard rail, according to Illinois State Police.
The car caught fire and authorities pulled out the man, whose exact age wasn’t available, state police said.
He was taken to a hospital for evaluation.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
