Fillmore , CA : Three people injured and One person trapped in a head-on traffic collision on friday , February 13th 2015

Three people were injured Friday in a head-on traffic collision in Fillmore, officials said.

The crash was reported about 5:40 p.m. near Ventura and C streets. Officials said two vehicles were involved and at least one person was trapped.

Two people were taken by ambulance to Ventura County Medical Center in Ventura with moderate to severe injuries. A third person who suffered minor injuries rode along in one of the ambulances, Fillmore Fire Chief Rigo Landeros said.

The Fillmore Fire Department and Ventura County Fire Department responded to the crash. Caltrans crews also responded to help repair a traffic signal that lost power when one of the vehicles hit it.
