An 85-year-old driver died after crashing into another vehicle in central Phoenix on Tuesday, police said.

Frank J. Oclassen drove through a red light around 5:10 p.m. at Dunlap Avenue and the Interstate 17 access road, Sgt. Mercedes Fortune said.

There were no injuries to the 19-year-old man sitting in Oclassen's vehicle nor to the 28-year-old woman driving the SUV that Oclassen struck, Fortune said.

Impairment did not appear to be a factor, she said. The investigation is ongoing.
