Montgomery, AL : Pedestrian killed in I-65 crash on Wednesday morning, March 22, 2017
The man killed after he was hit by a car Wednesday morning along Interstate 65 has been identified.
Tyrone D. Jordan, 36, of Montgomery, was struck by a 2010 Jeep Cherokee while he was walking in the southbound lane of I-65 near West South Boulevard, said Cpl. David Hicks, a spokesman for the Montgomery Police Department. Police arrived at the fatal wreck about 4:15 a.m.
The driver of the Jeep had no injuries. No charges are pending, and accident investigators are working to determine the circumstances of the crash.
