Fort Wayne, IN :Crash causes semi-trailer to flip on its side on Monday, July 6th 2015

One person was hospitalized after a crash on the off ramp from Interstate 469 to Interstate 69, near Dupont Road, Monday. A semi-trailer flipped on its side after colliding with a car.Police at the scene believe the driver of the car had a medical condition that flared up. The semi swerved in an attempt to avoid hitting the car. It went off the road and its semi-trailer flipped.The driver of the car was taken to a hospital. Police said the person’s injuries were not serious.Police responded to the crash around 4:30 p.m. It took crews more than an hour to clear the semi from the road.
