NEPHI, UT : Authorities responding to fatal crash on I-15 in Nephi on Wednesday, 11th November, 2020

A 25-year-old man died in a crash on I-15 in Nephi Wednesday morning, authorities said.

The crash took place about 6:30 a.m. on I-15 northbound about a mile north of Nephi, the Utah Highway Patrol said in a news release.

The man, who was not identified, was driving north in a 2005 Nissan truck and for an unknown reason swerved left into the median, the release said. The truck rolled several times before coming to a stop in the southbound travel lanes.

The man was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the truck, the release says. Lane travel and speed are suspected as contributing factors in the crash, UHP said.
