Pope County, AR : HSV man killed in wreck on Highway 7 north on Saturday, 18th April, 2020

A Hot Springs Village man was killed Saturday evening in a two-vehicle wreck on Highway 7 north in Pope County, according to an Arkansas State Police preliminary fatal crash summary.
Jeffrey Paul Davis, 51, of Hot Springs Village, driving a 2017 KTM 1290 Super Adventure motorcycle, was southbound on Highway 7 shortly before 6:30 p.m. when he attempted to pass a southbound 2020 Polaris RZR utility task vehicle that had slowed and was attempting to make a U-turn, the report states.
Davis' motorcycle collided with the UTV in the northbound lane and Davis was killed. The driver, Marion B. Cannon, 59, and passenger, Rhonda Mae Cannon, 57, both of Gravette, of the UTV were both injured in the wreck and transported to St. Mary's Regional Hospital in Russellville.
The report notes it was clear and dry at the time of the wreck.
