One person killed in traffic accident during police chase in Gadsden
A 26-year-old Gadsden man was killed in a traffic accident early Sunday night in Gadsden. Police say Otis Jamaar Adams was killed when the motorcycle he was driving collided with a SUV on East Meighn Boulevard.
Gadsden Police Captain Bobby Jackson said, in a statement, that Glencoe Police were in pursuit of Adams, when, according to witnesses, Adams ran a red light at north Third Street and collided with the SUV.
Adams was taken to Gadsden Regional where he was pronounced dead by Coroner Michael Head.
