Fort Myers, FL : 2 taken by ambulances from Fort Myers crash on Sunday, 6th January 2019

Two people were taken away in ambulances from a crash in Fort Myers Sunday.

The two-car crash was at Fowler Street and Colonial Boulevard. A witness said they saw one of the cars roll onto the grass in front of the nearby Starbucks.

"I heard a very loud explosion noise, I turn around and I see two cars kind of in contact and stuff, smoke going up in the air it was kind of a steamy looking kind of smoke," witness Theresa Ward said. "The minute the car stopped , the lady, she was in the driver side, she opened the door and she kind of step out and laid on the ground."
