Kenosha, WI : Pedestrian seriously injured after being hit by car near 27th Avenue and Roosevelt Road on Wednesday night, March 23, 2016

A pedestrian was seriously injured when the person was hit by a car in Kenosha late Wednesday night, authorities said.

The person was hit by the vehicle after 9 p.m. near 27th Avenue and Roosevelt Road.

The driver remained on the scene and the victim was taken to a hospital with injuries authorities said were serious.
