Arlington, WA : Pedestrian killed on Arlington highway early Sunday, July 31, 2016
A man walking along Highway 530 near Arlington was killed by a passing minivan early Sunday, troopers say.
Shane Stieben, 27, of Everett, was struck two miles west of town, about 4:15 a.m., according to a notice from the Washington State Patrol.
The minivan, heading west, was driven by a 65-year-old Arlington man who wasn’t injured, and was taken home afterward. The damaged vehicle was towed to a State Patrol yard, and the causes of the crash are being investigated.
