Lynn, MA : One person killed in struck by vehicle Route 1A on Friday December 11 2015

State Police say a pedestrian was struck and killed while crossing a highway.
The man was hit around 6:10 p.m. Friday on Route 1A in Lynn. Authorities say the pedestrian was not in the crosswalk.
Emergency officials took the victim to Massachusetts General Hospital where he later died.Police say the driver of the motor vehicle stayed at the scene.
The pedestrian's identity is being withheld pending family notification. Police are investigating.
